I know I’m not the only one who feels this way. You want to buy something that you know deep down you don’t really need, but you make every excuse that you do. Basically I’m talking about your iPhone you waited 8 hours for on the release date, the just announced 16-85mm Nikkor VR lens you’re aching for to replace/overlap a perfectly fine 18-200mm Nikkor VR you already own, and that PS3 even though you don’t even really play video games (hey, it’s got a blu-ray player built in, right?).
We all have some form of GAS (Gear Acquisition Syndrome), NAS (Nikon Acquisition Syndrome) or BBAS (Blah blah Acquisition Syndrome). So that’s what this site is all about. I’m planning on writing about stuff that I’ve bought and stuff that I want. And when I say want, what I really mean is “need.” Thank you Apple, Sony, Shure, Nikon, Canon, Leica, B&W, and everyone else out there who makes awesome and sexy products that make us want to spend all of our hard earned and credited money!
